Changelog

New features, improvements, and fixes shipped to Haydn. Questions about an update? Contact support@haydn.ai.

July 2026

  • Teach Haydn your row mappings. When reviewing extracted financials, you can now reject or remap how a row was matched to your existing statements. Haydn remembers these corrections and applies them automatically to future documents from the same company.
  • See how every number was derived. Values that Haydn reconstructs — for example from variance or vs-budget columns — now show a tooltip explaining exactly how they were computed from the source document.
  • One review conversation for every document. Financial statements and cap tables now share the same conversational review experience: ask questions, give targeted feedback, and re-extract from a single chat.
  • Faster document processing. Extraction runs are significantly faster thanks to parallel table classification and pipeline improvements, and answering a clarifying question mid-run now resumes processing instantly.
  • Native Excel reading. Excel statements are now read directly from the workbook rather than through PDF-style parsing, improving value fidelity for complex spreadsheets with multiple tables per sheet.
  • Export to Excel. Download your Financials grid as an Excel workbook with one click.
  • Public status page. Real-time platform uptime is now published at status.haydn.ai.
  • Security: automatic session timeout. Idle sessions now sign out automatically after 30 minutes and return you to where you left off when you sign back in.

June 2026

  • Agentic document extraction. Document extraction was rebuilt around an AI agent that plans its work, narrates progress in a live activity feed, asks clarifying questions when a document is ambiguous, and routes statements and cap tables to the right review surface automatically.
  • Budget, prior-year, and LTM support. Statements now capture printed budget columns, prior-year comparison lanes, and explicit last-twelve-months columns, with a fiscal-year-aware grid that badges calculated values.
  • Map rows to your own metrics. Tag statement rows to canonical metrics and define tenant-level metric formulas, so your portfolio reporting uses your definitions — not ours.
  • Verbatim statement rows. Extracted statements now preserve row labels exactly as they appear in the source document, matched deterministically across periods.
  • European number formats. Documents using comma-decimal and dot-thousands formatting are detected and parsed correctly.
  • Value traceability. Every value in the metrics grid can be traced back to the exact source cells it came from via a traceability popover and in-context document viewer.
  • Excel viewer improvements. The spreadsheet viewer now reveals hidden rows and columns, shows sheet tabs, and renders large workbooks smoothly.
  • Security: two-factor authentication required. TOTP two-factor authentication is now required for all password logins.
